The process is guided with a wizard interface, you first create a connection string, create a query, configure any fields that are linked to another fields, and finally select a group to where to place your new view. Views can be setup to allow updating, new entries and deleting records, they also include an interface to filter and sort the data very easily.
Data Monitors
Data monitors can provide a quick graphical view of any data. The way it works is you create a database query, you could even use provider specific functions; then you use the returned fields or constants to fill the min, max and value properties of the gauge bar. Everything is done using a wizard interface.
Server Monitors
To know the status of your data servers or any server all the time, Data Spy provides a server monitors that changes from the color you choose to the color you also choose whenever it goes down or up. This way it will be easy to identify any problems very quickly.
